HEALTH CLUB TERMS & CONDITIONS
PART 1 - MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
Interpretation and Amendments
1. Terms referencing one gender apply to all genders. Singular and plural
references are interchangeable where appropriate.
2. Members agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, including any
future updates made by the Company.
3. Membership becomes binding when the Member submits a completed application
form and pays any applicable joining and subscription fees.
4. Membership continues from the start date until it is cancelled in accordance
with these Terms.
5. Termination takes effect after the relevant notice period has expired,
without affecting any prior obligations or rights.
6. The Company reserves the right to update these Terms or introduce additional
club rules. Any updates will be communicated to Members and will take immediate
effect.
7. These Terms are governed by the laws of Jersey and any disputes shall fall
under the exclusive jurisdiction of Jersey's courts.
Membership Types and Eligibility
1. The Company may decline membership applications without providing a reason.
2. Membership is location-specific and non-transferable. Members must not share
their QR Code with others.
3. Membership categories include:
- (a) Subscription Fee: Payable
annually or monthly (via Direct Debit, Standing Order, or recurring card
payment; availability may vary).
- (b) Joining Fee: A non-refundable
fee (if applicable) upon application approval.
- (c) Individual Membership: For
individuals aged 18 or over.
- (d) Tariff Charges: Additional fees
for certain facilities.
- (e) Full Membership (7-Day/24-Hour
Access): Includes all Club facilities, subject to Tariff Charges.
- (f) Joint Membership: For two adults
(aged 18+) at the same address using one bank account.
- (g) Corporate Membership: For six or
more individuals from the same organisation (subject to availability and
terms).
Payment Terms
1. Applications must be submitted via the Clubright app. Interviews may be
requested.
2. Membership can be denied without explanation.
3. Subscription fees are payable in advance annually or monthly, depending on
the plan.
4. Annual memberships require a 12-month minimum commitment. Renewal is annual.
5. Current fee details are available at reception or via the members app.
6. Membership may be revoked if payments are over 30 days overdue. Rejoining
may require payment of a new joining fee.
7. Membership may be frozen for 3-12 months for medical reasons, supported by a
doctor's note. An admin fee may apply.
8. For monthly payments:
- (a) Members will receive advance
notice of Direct Debit collections and their rights under the scheme.
- (b) A starter payment covers a
pro-rata fee for the first month.
- (c) Starter payments may also
include the following month's full fee.
- (d) Written notice of at least 10
working days will be given for any fee increase.
- (e) Monthly payments remain due
regardless of Club usage.
Membership Cancellation
1. Monthly memberships can be cancelled with one full calendar month's notice
in writing (two months during the initial three-month period).
2. Annual members failing to renew within 30 days of expiry will have their
membership cancelled.
3. Members are responsible for cancelling payment instructions (Direct Debit,
Standing Order, etc.) upon termination.
4. Fees are non-refundable, unless otherwise specified.
5. Members may cancel within 28 days of any change to these Terms or fees. Refunds
will be issued for any unused portion after the notice period.
6. The Club may suspend or expel Members for behaviour deemed inappropriate,
without refund.
Liability
1. The Company is not liable for unavailable services or changes to facilities.
2. Members are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit before beginning
any exercise programme.
3. The Company is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury unless required
by law.
4. Storage of personal belongings is at Members' own risk.
QR Codes
1. QR Codes are the property of the Company and may be deactivated for
non-payment.
2. Members must scan their QR Code on entry.
3. QR Codes are non-transferable; misuse may lead to cancellation.
Guests
1. Members are responsible for their guests and must ensure they follow Club
rules.
General
1. Members must inform the Club in writing of address changes.
2. Admission may be refused at the Club's discretion.
3. The Company may assign this agreement to another party.
4. Third parties cannot enforce any part of this agreement.
PART 2 - CLUB GUIDELINES
Club Opening Times
1. Club opening hours and facility availability may vary. Members will be
notified of any major changes. Holiday hours may differ, and all supervised
facilities will close 30 minutes before the Club closes.
Facility Use
1. Members may use all available facilities. The Club reserves the right to
temporarily withdraw facilities for maintenance, cleaning, or other operational
needs. Up to 14 days of closure annually may occur without refund.
Guest Access
1. Adult Members may bring guests. Lounge and bar access is complimentary; use
of other facilities is subject to a fee.
2. Guests must sign a disclaimer at reception and be accompanied by the Member
at all times.
3. Members are responsible for their guests' conduct.
4. Former Members who were expelled or denied membership may not be admitted as
guests.
5. The Club may refuse any guest entry at its discretion.
Junior Members (Under 18)
1. Juniors must be registered and linked to a responsible adult Member.
2. Usage is restricted to designated hours, which will be advertised at the
Club.
3. Juniors must always be supervised unless attending a children's activity.
4. Children over 7 may not enter opposite-sex changing rooms.
5. Children under 14 must vacate lounge areas by 8:30pm. Those aged 14-17 may
stay until closing if supervised.
6. No alcohol may be purchased or consumed by Juniors.
Gym and Fitness Facilities
1. Members must complete a health questionnaire and an induction before using
fitness areas.
2. Members and guests should seek medical advice before starting exercise if
unsure of their fitness.
3. Notify staff of any health concerns that could be aggravated by exercise.
4. Do not use equipment without proper knowledge or instruction.
5. Studios may be reserved for classes. Schedules are available at reception.
6. Please wipe down equipment after use.
7. Under 16s may only access the gym as part of a supervised junior activity.
Those aged 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Facility Bookings
1. Bookings can be made in advance and must be confirmed on arrival.
2. Bookings can be made by phone or in person.
3. Any applicable tariff charges must be paid before use.
4. Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice or a fee will apply.
5. Peak-time restrictions may apply and will be posted at reception or on the
app.
Coaching and Personal Training
1. All coaching must be approved by the Club and delivered by approved
personnel.
2. Private personal training must also be arranged with Club knowledge and
provided by authorised trainers.
Events and Social Use
1. The Club may reserve areas for tournaments, exhibitions, or events without
prior notice.
Swimming Pool Use
1. Access is via designated wet areas. Running, jumping, and diving are not
permitted.
2. Showering is required before pool entry. No unauthorised floats or
inflatables.
3. Photography is not allowed anywhere in the Club.
4. Appropriate swimwear is required.
5. The Club may reserve the pool for adults, classes, or events. Notices will
be displayed.
6. HSE guidelines recommend one adult for every two children in the water.
7. Children under 18 must be supervised.
8. Babies must wear swim nappies.
9. Food and drink are not allowed in the pool area.
Sauna, Steam Room Use
1. Individuals with certain medical conditions should not use these facilities
without medical advice.
2. Showering before and after use is mandatory. Swimwear is required.
3. Limit use to 15 minutes per session.
4. Under 16s are not permitted. Ages 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
5. Shaving is not permitted in these areas.
Lockers and Personal Items
1. Lockers are for daily use only. Items left overnight will be removed.
2. Members must wear suitable attire throughout the Club. Swimwear and soiled
gym clothes are not permitted in lounges or bars.
Health and Safety
1. No glass, crockery, or food in fitness or wet areas. Guide dogs are the only
permitted animals.
2. Use main entrances. Emergency exits are for emergencies only.
3. Vehicles must be parked in designated spaces and not overnight without
approval.
4. Lost property will be held for six weeks (wet items for 48 hours) before
donation.
PART 3 - MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
1. Members presenting a valid QR Code are
entitled to:
- 10% discount on food and beverage
purchases at the hotel bar and restaurant through the Radisson Rewards Scheme.
This includes à la carte dining, afternoon tea, and Sunday lunch (excluding
special events and occasions). Maximum of four guests per visit.
- 10% off the best available Bed &
Breakfast rates at participating Radisson Blu Hotels. All bookings must be made
by calling 01534 671000, are fully prepaid, and are non-refundable and
non-amendable.
